Just a woman, a mule, and a bowed cart of goods that seems to set itself up in about the time it takes to blink. The air around this stall never quite settles: hair lifts on its own, small hairs prickle upright, and every so often something crackles faintly with no visible source. Regulars know to leave their metal jewelry in their packs before they browse.

			Odessa Vane is a solo storm-chaser, weathered and sun-cracked, with a laugh like distant thunder and boots that have crossed more open plains than most people have crossed rooms. Her mule, Rumble, was struck by lightning years back and came out the other side changed, mane permanently floating as if underwater, sparks jumping off his harness when he's annoyed, hooves that never seem to need shoeing. Odessa sells what storms leave behind: fulgurite-edged blades, charge-humming armor, oddments that hum if you hold them too long. She doesn't chase weather for the thrill of it. She chases it because Rumble does, and she stopped asking why a long time ago.
