==Silkwoven==
A Silkwoven is built along two halves that somehow read as one creature rather than two stitched together: a humanoid upper body, expressive and articulate, set atop a long, many-legged spider's body, the whole of it moving with a fluid, unhurried grace that unsettles some people and mesmerizes the rest. Their hands carry spinnerets at the wrist, capable of drawing a fine, strong silk on command, and a Silkwoven treats that silk the way a painter treats pigment: not a survival tool first, an art form first.

They are vanishingly rare, rarer even than Crowfolk. Most people who live and die in a place like Vulture's Vineyard will never see one, and the ones who do tend to remember the day precisely. Where they come from, how many of them there are, or what waits for them wherever home is, nobody in town could tell you, Silkwoven included, if a Silkwoven is even inclined to say.

What they are inclined to do is dress the part of whatever occasion they've decided the moment deserves, which for a Silkwoven is most moments. Their silk doesn't just hold together, it drapes, layers, catches light, and changes its mind entirely between one visit and the next. A Silkwoven's wardrobe is understood, among the few who've witnessed one, to be a kind of running performance: less clothing than argument, the argument being that a little chaos, worn well, is its own kind of order. They gravitate toward Sorcerers, Bards, and anyone else who understands that a genuinely good entrance is worth more than a quiet one.
