Raise Dead is unique among all Deity Powers. It is the only power that can be used while the hero is dead.

===Effect===
Target yourself or another hero. The target returns to life with 1 HP. The [[Disfavored]] keyword is applied to the target immediately upon return to life.

===Cost===
Raise Dead costs all remaining Deity Power uses for the adventure, regardless of how many have been spent. If the hero has already spent all 3 uses and is dead, Raise Dead may still be used. Demetra grants it directly. The [[Disfavored]] keyword applies in all cases.

===Restrictions===
A hero who carries the [[Disfavored]] keyword cannot use Raise Dead until the keyword is removed.

===When It Can Be Used===
Raise Dead is the only Deity Power that can be declared while the hero is dead. All other Deity Powers require the hero to be alive at the point of declaration.

===Source===
Demetra has attended every death since the world began. She receives the dying, carries them, and tends the garden where they rest. Raise Dead is not a gift she gives lightly. A name returned from her garden is still in her record. The [[Alma Mortis]] does not forget. The hero who returns carries her mark until the debt is settled.
