The Broodmother Queen
Something in the deepest part of the nest has let one Waspkin Queen grow far beyond what any hive should allow, swollen and crowned in a way that makes the ordinary Queens look like scouts by comparison. The whole colony answers to her now, and she doesn't call for help so much as command it.
