Bloated and half-buried in a nest of her own making, the Warren Mother hasn't moved from this chamber in longer than any living ratling can remember. She doesn't need to. The warren brings itself to her, and every litter that crawls free of her nest owes her their allegiance before they've even opened their eyes.
