Bones move with an unnerving fluidity, backing away from every strike a half-step before it lands, like the memory of the reflex is the last thing to go. Getting close is nearly impossible, melee attacks arrive a beat too late, again and again.
Long-ranged weapons fare much better. Whatever kept these bones dancing clearly never accounted for an arrow, and a solid hit to the skull ends the performance for good.
