Raiden is the Deity of Reflex. However, in ancient times, he was the king of an ancient elven empire until it fell down due to the poor decisions he took throughout his journey. He was a tyrant emperor that didn’t care about anything else but his own desires, but time taught him a lesson and he ended up being cursed with immortality by a witch.

Once a fierce warrior, Raiden’s combat abilities were exceptional. He used swift sword movements to fulminate his opponents, which granted him the nickname of “dancing swordsman.
Raiden is the Deity of Chaos. He is described as a dragon capable of controlling lightning and negative emotions. He is responsible for all the wars and diplomatic conflicts that have happened throughout history.

Raiden is also the big brother of [[Euthymia]], as they were born during different stages of creation. However, unlike his sister, Raiden believes that death and chaos should go together. This belief has caused them to be in conflict since the beginning of time.
After he became an immortal, Raiden started wandering through the world looking for ways to end his life. He tried everything you could think of, but nothing worked as his body always regenerated. One day, he was struck by lightning, but thanks to his immortality, his body was infused with electricity instead.

==== History ====
With the reflexes of a feline and the ability of controlling lighting, many descendants of his old subordinates started venerating him as the Deity of Reflex. Now he lives in the ruins of his old castle, waiting for a worthy opponent who's capable of giving of him a dignified death.
Chaos was the first thing to appear when this world was first created. Raiden found his paradise in the primordial state the world was in when it was formed and blessed it with lightning. However, it didn't last for too long. As other deities woke up and were born, his heaven slowly disappeared, and his power was never the same when the world was completely terraformed.

Thanks to his powers being dissected, Euthymia was born from the dead waste of his egg. Thus, it is said that hate was born at this exact moment.
=== History ===
Most records of Raiden’s history were erased by himself in an attempt of recovering his reputation as a “benevolent emperor.” However, his efforts were useless as gossip spreads quicker than an illness among people. It is unknown whether he was a tyrant all the time or if at some point it was corrupted. It is said that the witch he hired as a legal advisor ended up manipulating him with spells.

Raiden and Euthymia have always had a turbulent relationship. At first, Raiden was indirectly responsible for the deaths of all that existed, but Euthymia started to change the transition to death to something more peaceful as the centuries passed. At some point, Raiden couldn't hold up his anger anymore and attacked Euthymia, who defended herself and scratched his face with her blade-like claws. These events marked the beginning of the first war the world had seen.
At some point, Raiden ended up killing the witch to avoid suffering the effects of her magic in the long term. However, at that point, he was already immortal and his efforts were useless.

Although their conflict is far from over, Raiden doesn't let her sister's presence overshadow his. He is still planting the seed of hate in the hearts of the people; he is the patron of storms and continues to be why peace between all races or even within the same kind is something that only a few could dream of.
Raiden observed how his wife, children and friends suffered painful deaths by the rival empire. All this burden caused him to become depressed, and the most pessimistic side of his took over his soul. He became obsessed with his own death and started looking for ways to cease existing.

==== Physical appearance ====
After many suicide attempts, Raiden decided to try throwing himself into an active volcano. To add more bad luck to his background, the only active volcano at that time was intervened by Pavlossus; it was now another cold mountain where snow fell all day.
As a primordial deity, Raiden is a sea dragon with three heads, similar to a hydra. He lives in the depths of the sea. It is said that if a storm happens, he's near that area. Thanks to this, pirates venerate him as the patron of storms.

Raiden doesn't have extremities, but possesses elongated whiskers on his face that move like arms. His body is electric to the touch and could kill any being within a few seconds, regardless of its size. He can also create lightning with his mouth.
However, not everything was lost. He was lucky to watch Faustina and Pavlossus’ first battle, and after the phoenix’s tackled the giant ox, the hit plucked out some feathers from her. One of those feathers reached out to Raiden, and he was blessed with Faustina’s Flavor. Although it didn’t cure his immortality, it had an effect on his psyche and started seeing the world with different eyes.

Raiden has bright blue eyes that seem to be made of electrified water. Some speculate that they are portals to a temple in the sea. His scales are dark blue and absorb any light that touches them the deeper he goes through the sea.
Now, he’s looking forward to making amends for his mistakes and although he barely leaves his castle, any person that encounters him will be blessed with a minimum portion of his power.

=== Appearance ===
Raiden has the typical appearance of an elf, but due to his age, his hair is now white. Other aspects of his body haven't changed at all. Only a few ones have been lucky to see his face, but now he hides from the world in a purple armor that resembles that of a samurai. He's taller than the average elf, and his body is always covered in a slight electric aura that can kill insects and small animals if they approach him.

He was a tyrant emperor that didn’t care about anything else but his own desires, but time taught him a lesson and he ended up being cursed with immortality by a witch.

Once a fierce warrior, Raiden’s combat abilities were exceptional. He used swift sword movements to fulminate his opponents, which granted him the nickname of “dancing swordsman.”

After he became an immortal, Raiden started wandering through the world looking for ways to end his life. He tried everything you could think of, but nothing worked as his body always regenerated. One day, he was struck by lightning, but thanks to his immortality, his body was infused with electricity instead.

With the reflexes of a feline and the ability of controlling lighting, many descendants of his old subordinates started venerating him as the Deity of Reflex. Now he lives in the ruins of his old castle, waiting for a worthy opponent who's capable of giving of him a dignified death.

History

Most records of Raiden’s history were erased by himself in an attempt of recovering his reputation as a “benevolent emperor.” However, his efforts were useless as gossip spreads quicker than an illness among people. It is unknown whether he was a tyrant all the time or if at some point it was corrupted. It is said that the witch he hired as a legal advisor ended up manipulating him with spells.

At some point, Raiden ended up killing the witch to avoid suffering the effects of her magic in the long term. However, at that point, he was already immortal and his efforts were useless.

Raiden observed how his wife, children and friends suffered painful deaths by the rival empire. All this burden caused him to become depressed, and the most pessimistic side of his took over his soul. He became obsessed with his own death and started looking for ways to cease existing.

After many suicide attempts, Raiden decided to try throwing himself into an active volcano. To add more bad luck to his background, the only active volcano at that time was intervened by Pavlossus; it was now another cold mountain where snow fell all day.

Now, he’s looking forward to making amends for his mistakes and although he barely leaves his castle, any person that encounters him will be blessed with a minimum portion of his power.

Appearance

Raiden has the typical appearance of an elf, but due to his age, his hair is now white. Other aspects of his body haven't changed at all. Only a few ones have been lucky to see his face, but now he hides from the world in a purple armor that resembles that of a samurai.
