Mule Deer
A wary woodland grazer with oversized ears and powerful legs, mule deer are common prey in forests and foothills. Quick to flee at the first sign of danger, they bound away in long, springing leaps and travel in small herds. Hunters prize them for their meat, hides, and antlers.
