Summon
Sometimes, the creatures you met along the way during your adventure will join your party momentarily. Thus, you will be able to command them and make them act as you please, at least for a short period. Now you can have more allies in battle than before, making fighting bigger threats less challenging. However, having more allies doesn't mean that you can give up on strategic thinking. You can take advantage of your summons' abilities creatively to make unique combinations!
A Summon isn't simply an ally who showed up, it's a creature bound into being or bound to your side through magic, and that binding is the whole of what makes it a Summon rather than a Companion, a hireling, or a monster that merely calls more of its own kind to a fight. A creature calling for reinforcements is doing something else entirely, no magic changes hands, nothing is bound, it's just not alone anymore. A true Summon exists on borrowed terms from the start, present because a spell or a pact put it there, and it tends to depart the same way it arrived, on the caster's terms rather than its own.
