The Pages She Keeps Longest
Daphne has a page for everyone who comes through that door, dwarves and fae and the occasional thing she is fairly sure was not any of the above. But she keeps the human pages longest, and she will tell you why if you ask: the others get to be interesting on arrival, and humans have to go out and earn it, which in her opinion makes for better verses.
She turns the ledger around so you can see how much of it is blank.
"Welcome, welcome, do come in. Now. Which are we doing today?"
If you give her a verse: You tell her something worth writing down, and she writes it down, and her quill does not stop until she has all of it including the part you had not planned to include. She slides an Iron Lodge Key across the counter and waves off the coin. Gain one Iron Lodge Key at no cost.
If you ask what she has already written about you: She finds the page without looking it up, which is unsettling, and reads it out. It is longer than you expected and kinder than you expected and one line of it is about something you are certain you never told her. She tears the page free, folds it small, and threads it onto a cord before you can object. Gain one Intellect Pendant at no cost.
