Stanton Recognizes a Real Opponent
Stanton Creed has challenged a lot of drinkers over three cursed years, and most of them are the same kind of easy. This one isn't. Bibulous runs deep enough in your people that Stanton's dead eyes actually narrow with something like interest before the first glass is even poured.
"Dwarf, huh." He pours a third round instead of two. "Let's see if the stories are true."
Make a Body(2) check.
Success: You match him drink for drink long past where anyone else would have folded, and Stanton, cursed and undying as he is, looks almost impressed. He slides a coin purse across the bar before the room even notices the extra round. Gain 30 (rc).
Failure: You keep pace admirably but the extra round finally catches up to you. The room tips, you wake up later with a headache and nothing worse. No reward, no cost.
