You Don't Need to Pry Anything Free
Any Dwarf can spot dwarven work in this trap. Miner reads it deeper than that, the exact tension in the springs, the wear pattern that says which barrel fires first, the way a lifetime underground teaches you to read a mechanism the way others read a face.
Make a Mind(2) check.
Success: You clock the firing order before the first bolt ever leaves the housing, and step through the gaps like the trap was built with your timing in mind. Skip the room's crossbow trap entirely this visit, no attack roll needed on any round.
Failure: The order isn't as readable as you hoped. The trap fires normally.
