Faustina lived with her family at the top of a mountain. She was the last of three eggs to hatch, and was a bit tinier than her siblings. However, her size wasn’t an obstacle for her. She was the first of her siblings in learning to fly once her feathers were all out. | |||
This family of phoenixes had a peaceful life in the mountains. However, one day, the family didn’t come back to the nest and they sky suddenly darkened. | |||
Faustina stayed at the nest for months, with no idea of where her siblings or parents were. When she decided to look for them, a storm hit the mountain. The water was so strong that parts of the mountain started tumbling down. | |||
Faustina had to make a choice: she could either take a risk and fly away from the mountain, or wait for her family to show up even if it meant to put her life in danger. | |||
