Everyone has a price, and what more could a man ask for than that his pockets stay full and his bed is never empty? If the prize is worth more to you than the friends you made along the way, it shouldn’t come as a shock when someone calls you out for being materialistic.

What lies beyond the realm of the living is of no concern to the materialistic. Intangible ideals like morals and beliefs are easily thrown away in the face of a big enough pile of gold and all the earthly possibilities it can bring.
The materialistic do not concern themselves of what lies beyond the world, only what lies within it. They shower themselves with gold that could rival the emperor’s, jewelries that they themselves could barely carry, and clothes fit for an entire empire. They do not care for things they cannot touch. In fact, many simply concern themselves of the finer things in life and obtaining them in any way they can. Many would say that these are the more predictable bunch, so much so, that even their moralities can be bought…with the right price, of course.

Materialistic

The world runs with a price tag. It only depends on who’s offering and how much it costs.
