Room 16 Three Barrels Room

Time-Icon.png Three large oak ornate rune covered barrels fill the center of the room. They stand almost the height of a human and the runes will occasionally glow a soft blue. Bones of many humanoids scatter the floor.

Whatever these barrels once held predates Girok's winery by a wide margin. The runes match nothing else found in the Wine Cellar, and the wood shows no sign of the rot that has claimed everything else down here. Every skeleton on the floor is angled toward the barrels, as if each of them had been reaching for one when they died.

Event

Poison or Power, If you choose to drink from one of the barrels. Roll 3d6.

  • If you rolled doubles the drink was Poisoned +1 level.
  • If the total of the 3 dice was 13+ for the next d6 attacks convert 1 black die to white.
  • Whatever is left in a barrel after a Hero drinks does not replenish. Once emptied, that barrel offers nothing further.
