Thursen Axeshaper is a dwarven traveling merchant who owns The Sleepy Efreeti, a trading company that deals in a variety of goods, from weapons and armor to exotic spices and textiles. He is a skilled negotiator and businessman, with a reputation for fair dealing and reliability. Thursen has spent most of his life traveling the world, building relationships and networks that allow him to source the finest goods at the best prices.
Thursen Axeshaper is the patriarch of The Sleepy Efreeti, a barrel-chested Dwarf with a beard singed short at the edges and a merchant's memory that has never once forgotten a price, a face, or a debt. He has spent most of his life on the wagon's bench, working trade roads from one end of the realm to the other, and his reputation travels ahead of him: fair to the copper, honest to a fault, and impossible to rush. His side of the wagon is arms and armor for those who live by them, steel for Fighters, Paladins, and Swashbucklers, from belt daggers to full plate, every piece of it carrying the heat of the wagon's forge.


Thursen is also a devoted family man, married to Gloviel Axeshaper, a fellow dwarf who manages the family's finances and investments. Together they have a son, Ruvir Axeshaper, whom they hope will one day take over the family business. Thursen and Gloviel are known for their philanthropy and charitable work, using a portion of their profits to support dwarven communities in need, as well as other causes they feel strongly about.
