Sadness
You don't know exactly when it settles in. Somewhere between looking at the seven silhouettes and walking back toward the door, something heavy takes up residence behind your eyes. It is not grief exactly. It is the specific weight of knowing that everything ends and most of it already has.
The hero gains the Sadness status.
For the next 5 days on the Time Clock, all Luck rolls are made at -1.
Sadness is a status, not a keyword. It does not appear on the keyword section of the hero sheet — mark it in notes with the day it expires. It cannot be removed early by any item, spell, or ability.
The Invisible Ones find Sadness useful. It keeps people honest about what matters.
