Armondo's hands go still the moment he sees the bottle, all business dropping out of his face at once. For a second he doesn't say anything, doesn't reach for it, just looks. "That's it," he says, quiet, like saying it too loud might make it disappear again. "That's really it." He takes the bottle from you like it might still break after everything it's survived, turns it once in the kitchen light, and lets out a breath that sounds like it's been held for years. "I served under men like Girok, Dwa. Different war, different mountain, but I know a soldier who built something worth keeping when I see one. Man plants a vineyard on a battlefield instead of walking away from it? That's not nothing. That's not nothing at all." He sets the bottle carefully aside, out of the way of the evening's coming chaos, and claps a heavy hand on your shoulder.
