An old man sits on an overturned crate, boots worn through, a pack beside him that looks like it hasn't moved in years. He doesn't seem lost so much as settled, like he stopped trying to leave a long time ago and made his peace with it. Whatever brought him down here originally, he's had a long time to learn things about this place that nobody who leaves ever gets the chance to.
