Samantha 'Glitterblade' Harkham

Is the heart of the Elite Destroyers, a bundle of boundless energy and relentless optimism. With her messy blonde pigtails adorned with mismatched ribbons and her perpetually smudged cheeks, she looks more like someone who just escaped a pie-eating contest than a dungeon-delver. Samantha’s prized possession is her legendary “Glitterblade,” a wooden sword coated in a generous amount of glue and glitter, some of which still falls off in sparkling trails wherever she goes. To her, the Glitterblade is not just a weapon—it’s a symbol of heroism, magic, and her unshakable belief that she is destined to defeat monsters and save the day.

Samantha’s enthusiasm knows no bounds. Whether it’s charging headfirst into a “battle” (often against harmless dungeon critters or piles of rubble she declares are “enemy camps”) or proclaiming herself the bravest hero in history, she approaches everything with the earnestness of a child pretending to be invincible. She’s known for loudly shouting things like, “Glitterblade, attack!!” and dramatically flailing at anything that might move, which, more often than not, includes the other members of her party. While her antics can cause chaos (and minor glitter-related injuries), her innocence and enthusiasm are infectious, and even grizzled adventurers find it hard not to smile in her presence. Of course, the real danger lies in her complete lack of understanding of actual peril, as she will happily try to pet a snarling monster or poke at a trap she declares is “cool-looking.” The other Destroyers often have their hands full keeping her alive—or at least keeping her out of too much trouble.
