Chutzpah

Chutzpah is the Divine Power of The Invisible Ones, Deity of Social. It is one of the three Deity Power slots available to Clerics and Paladins devoted to The Invisible Ones.

Chutzpah can also be earned by any hero regardless of class or deity by completing the Inscribed Chronicle quest.

Effect

Automatically pass one social roll or NPC reaction roll without rolling. The result is treated as a full success.

Chutzpah can be used in Town or in the Dungeon wherever a social roll occurs. It does not need to be declared in advance.

Refresh

Chutzpah refreshes each morning when the hero takes a standard rest action. It may be used once per day.

Cost

For Clerics and Paladins devoted to The Invisible Ones, Chutzpah is drawn from the shared 3-use Deity Power pool. Using it spends 1 use.

For heroes who earned Chutzpah through the Inscribed Chronicle quest, it is tracked as a keyword on the hero sheet. It refreshes on rest and has no pool cost.

The Invisible Ones govern Social because they have been moving through the emotional lives of mortals for longer than any civilization has existed. Chutzpah is the thinnest edge of that influence: for one moment, the right word lands, the right face is made, and the NPC responds exactly as needed. The Invisible Ones are not doing anything dramatic. They are simply making one small thing easy.
