Foresight

Foresight is the Divine Power of Koyous, Deity of Mind. It is one of the three Deity Power slots available to Clerics and Paladins devoted to Koyous.

Effect

Before rolling on any table in the current room, the hero rolls twice and chooses which result to apply.

Declare Foresight before any dice are rolled. It applies to any table: encounter, treasure, trap, event, or stranger. Once declared, roll twice and take whichever result you prefer.

Cost

Using Foresight spends 1 of the hero's 3 Deity Power uses for the adventure.

Source

Koyous cannot perceive the future directly, but processes an enormous number of simultaneous scenarios to identify the most favourable outcome. Foresight allows the hero to borrow a fraction of this ability: not perfect knowledge, but the chance to see two possibilities and choose between them.
