Whatever's Back There Reads You the Same Way
Backing away from the dark corner without drawing its attention takes a steady nerve. Moody's nerve isn't steady, exactly, it's changeable, and whatever's waiting back there seems to find that unpredictability harder to read than fear.
Make a Reflex(2) check instead of the room's usual (3).
Success: You back away clean, your own shifting temperament somehow harder to lock onto than a calmer Hero's would be.
Failure: Roll on the Common Monster table, same as anyone else who fails the retreat.
