Halflings are joyful humanoids that prefer to go barefoot through the world. They're half the size of a regular human, but their big, hairy feet are the most characteristic aspect of their appearance.
Despite being similar in size, halflings and dwarves are opposite to each other. While a dwarf has a remarkable strength and a large beard, a halfling often has a clean face and prefers to pass time singing and bringing joy to their peers. Some refer to halflings as "the lucky ones."
Halflings are simple beings that prefer having an easy life. However, some of them may have been born with an adventurous spirit just for the sake of having fun. It would seem that going carefee and happy through life is their only aspiration.
However, don't let their happy nature fool you. Not all halflings are "cheerful" in the good sense of the word, as some of them only care about their own pleasure and can be extremely selfish. No wonder why some of the best rogues throughout the history have been halflings.
