Eramacosta
Eramacosta does not arrive at the Ballroom so much as happen to it. One moment the room is doing its ordinary evening business, the next there's a ripple through the crowd, the music stumbles half a beat, and a Silkwoven Chaos Sorcerer is standing in the middle of the floor in something nobody in Vulture's Vineyard has ever seen fabric do before, clearly delighted that you noticed.
She is enormous fun and entirely too much, both at once and on purpose. Her upper half carries itself like a woman who has never once doubted she was the best-dressed person in any room she's ever entered, chin up, wrists loose, every gesture a little larger than it strictly needs to be. Her lower half, eight long silk-spinning legs, produces the wardrobe that makes the first half's confidence so hard to argue with: gowns that shift drape mid-conversation, capes that catch light nobody else's fabric catches, a fresh and increasingly implausible silhouette every single visit. She narrates her own outfits unprompted, at length, with the reverent seriousness other people reserve for scripture.
Underneath the spectacle is a real Sorcerer, born into Conjuration and self-taught in Illusion, and she is not being modest about the arrogance the class is famous for, she's leaning into it. Power, to Eramacosta, is simply one more thing to wear well. Where she comes from, how often she'll be back, or why Vulture's Vineyard of all places keeps drawing her, she'll answer with a wave of the hand and a change of subject so smooth you won't notice you've been redirected until she's already three stories into something else entirely.

A Touch of Chaos
On a night Eramacosta is present, once per day,
let her work a thread of chaos magic on you or something you're wearing. Roll 1d6:
| Roll | Result |
|---|---|
| 1 | She restyles your travel-worn cloak into something "utterly, criminally divine." Purely cosmetic, no mechanical effect, though she'll expect you to say thank you properly. |
| 2 | A burst of harmless glittering illusory sparks catches the room's attention, and she conjures a little something to match the moment: Buddy Medal , pinned to your chest with a theatrical flourish. |
| 3 | She decides your boots are wrong for the season and spins you a new pair from illusion-silk on the spot. Gorgeous. Gone by Darkfall. No mechanical effect. |
| 4 | For just a moment, your reflection in the Ballroom's mirrored wall does something slightly different than you do. No effect, just deeply unsettling in a way you can't quite explain to anyone else. |
| 5 | A skein of raw chaos-silk becomes a genuine gift: Fairy Dust of Veil of Shadows. |
| 6 | Full spectacle: color and light and a standing ovation from a room that wasn't even watching a second ago. She presses Clover Potion into your hand on her way past, already on to the next thing. |
The Verdict
On a night Eramacosta is present, once per visit, she looks you over, head to toe, and renders judgment on your ensemble whether you asked for it or not.
Social(2):
- Success: delighted applause, one sharp clap, and she unclips something from her own ensemble and fastens it onto yours before you can protest. Roll on the Ring table (CCVV-7000) for which Attribute you receive.
- Failure: aghast, genuinely aghast, and she drags you off for an impromptu restyling whether you like it or not. Purely cosmetic, no mechanical effect, though it does cost you the time. Add 1
