Fighters only have one purpose in life–to battle it out till their dying breath.
A fighter has usually been somewhere worse than wherever they are now. That history shows, not in the way they talk about it (they rarely do), but in how they stand in a doorway, how long they take before deciding a room is clear, how little they flinch at things that make other classes step back.

While they believe that peace and prosperity are possible, they know that talks and agreements aren’t the answer to make it happen. Violence, while bloody and long, always seem to get the best results. It intimidates the people to follow the rules. It scares people back into their place. For so long, history has proven that action gets things done. That may be the reason why fighters and clerics don’t get along.
They are not brawlers. Brawlers are loud and usually dead. Fighters are quiet and methodical; they understand bodies and angles and the narrow margin between a swing that lands and one that does not. They have earned every piece of knowledge they carry at a cost they do not advertise.

Their class answers only to strength–someone who can outmaneuver them in a fight–and authority. However, while they may be difficult to impress, a fighter’s loyalty is not to be underestimated. They’re persistent and determined, standing by their friends or leaders even if it meant getting hurt in the process.
What earns their loyalty is not rank or eloquence. It is competence and consistency: show them you know what you are doing, hold your position when it matters, and a fighter will go further for you than any contract demands. Break that trust once and you will not get a second chance to do it again.

Fighter

"While letters may spell out peace, bloodshed is what makes it so."

A fighter has usually been somewhere worse than wherever they are now. That history shows, not in the way they talk about it (they rarely do), but in how they stand in a doorway, how long they take before deciding a room is clear, how little they flinch at things that make other classes step back.

They are not brawlers. Brawlers are loud and usually dead. Fighters are quiet and methodical; they understand bodies and angles and the narrow margin between a swing that lands and one that does not. They have earned every piece of knowledge they carry at a cost they do not advertise.

What earns their loyalty is not rank or eloquence. It is competence and consistency: show them you know what you are doing, hold your position when it matters, and a fighter will go further for you than any contract demands. Break that trust once and you will not get a second chance to do it again.
