The Great Mizubi
| Dicey Dangers, The Creepy Creature of Vulture's Vineyard | Game by Joel Hills |
The Great Mizubi
No one in Vulture's Vineyard can say what The Great Mizubi is. Not his race, not his real name, not what's under the mask he has never once been seen without. He is a Sorcerer, that much is certain from what he can do, but where his kind are supposed to be loud, hungry for an audience, unable to let a silence sit unfilled, Mizubi has not spoken a single word that anyone can recall. He doesn't need to. His Conjuration and Illusion do the talking for him, folding light and shape into something closer to language than performance, and somehow it works. People remember his shows for years.
He performs because it is the one place he can be looked at without being asked anything. The mask isn't for effect, or it isn't only for effect. Whatever he's protecting behind it, he protects carefully, and thoroughly, and without a single explanation.
He has secrets. Real ones, the kind that don't resolve into a punchline if you wait long enough. Every so often, if you watch closely enough and understand what you're seeing, one slips through anyway.
Actions
The Silent Show
Mizubi doesn't announce his performances. He simply begins, mid-step, mid-gesture, light already curling around his hands into shapes that aren't quite anything yet.
Once per day,
watch his show and attempt to read what it means.
- Mind(2): if you succeed, roll 1d6 on the table below
- If you fail, you watch something remarkable. You understand none of it. He bows anyway.
| Roll 1d6 | What Mizubi Reveals |

| 1 | A Flicker of Something Else |
| 2 | Why He Doesn't Speak |
| 3 | What the Mask Holds Back |
