Gabriazar
Gabriazar has a moustache worth the second look, a wardrobe worth the third, and a story ready before you've finished the first. A Human Bard, blond and blue-eyed and dressed like every day might be the day someone important is watching, he introduces himself the way other people introduce a favor they're about to ask, warmly, and with a compliment already loaded.
He is, by his own account, constantly on the verge of doing something generous. Rescuing a widow's honor. Funding an orphan's future. Righting some small wrong nobody else noticed. What he is actually doing, nearly always, is angling for coin, status, or the attention of whoever he's currently trying to impress, dressed up in just enough good deed to make the angle hard to see. He lies easily, and often, and mostly without malice. His schemes rarely land the way he plans. They have an odd habit of landing better, for someone other than him.
He is, all things considered, mostly harmless. Just ask him for a favor. He'll have one ready for you within the hour.
