Multiclass

Rolling 11-12 on Table 200: Hero Class makes a Hero a Multiclass: they carry the Keywords of 2 or 3 Classes at once instead of just one. This grants access to more than one Class's flavor and Attribute bonuses, but the Hero's daily special-ability uses stay capped rather than stacking freely.

Attribute Bonuses

Attribute bonuses scale down the more Classes a Hero carries, so a Multiclass Hero doesn't simply out-stat a Single Class Hero.

  • Single Class: +3 Attribute
  • Dual Class: +2 Attribute on the first Class, +1 Attribute on the second Class
  • Triple Class: +1 Attribute on all 3 Classes

No Hero may carry more than 3 Classes. Any additional Class rolled beyond the third counts as none.

Pack Table

A Multiclass Hero only rolls ONE Pack Table, not one per Class. Choose which of your Classes' Pack Table to roll on.

Class Special Abilities

A Multiclass Hero does not get each Class's full daily allowance separately, stacking would make Dual and Triple Class Heroes too strong compared to a Single Class Hero. Instead, all of a Multiclass Hero's Class special abilities draw from one shared pool of 3 uses per day, chosen freely from whichever of their Classes' Abilities they have access to.

Each individual use still follows that Ability's own specific rules (a Wizard's Transcribe still needs a Spell in the Spell Book to copy, a Fighter's Veteran's Edge still only triggers during combat, and so on). Only the daily cap itself is shared and capped at 3 total, not 3 per Class.

Track the shared pool on a single 3-box tracker. Mark one box regardless of which Class's Ability was used. All uses reset at Darkfall or on a standard rest in Town, same as a Single Class Hero's tracker.
