Vulture's Vineyard Reception Desk

As you step through the Lodge's front doors, the Reception Desk greets you first, a heavy oak counter scarred with decades of guest ledgers dragged across its surface. A taxidermied vulture watches from a shelf behind the desk, wings frozen mid-spread, a small brass plaque beneath it reading "Old Girok's first find." A bronze bell sits at the counter's edge, worn smooth where a thousand palms have struck it, waiting for someone to answer.

Down the hall, you can hear the low murmur of the bar and catch the occasional laugh drifting from the Common Room. To the west, the door to Ye Olde Curiosity Shop stands half open, its shelves visible in the lamplight. Whatever else Vulture's Vineyard Lodge has seen, this desk has been its first and last stop for every guest who's passed through.
