[[File:Time-Icon.png|40px]] The House of Sanctuary is a place of welcome and inclusivity, open to all who seek refuge and solace. The building is currently under construction, with a new part made of Ivory Stone and Dark Oak trim that stands out from the rest of the building made of wooden planks. Despite the apparent abandonment of the construction, the carved oak doors at the top of the white ivory steps offer a warm invitation to enter.
[[File:Time-Icon.png|40px]] The House of Sanctuary stands at the south end of town, ivory stone bright against the dark pines climbing the slope behind it. White stone steps lead up to carved oak doors that are never barred, and canvas and scaffolding wrap whichever section the work has most recently reached. The temple has been under construction longer than anyone in town cares to admit, rising only as fast as donations allow, and a hand-lettered board beside the steps thanks its contributors by name, some of the entries decades old.

Upon entering, visitors are immediately struck by the sense of wonder and awe that surrounds them. While much of the building's grandeur has been lost to time and decay, the six pillars at the front of the room still proudly display monuments to the deities worshipped by the Clerics and Paladins who call this place home. The energy and magic that permeate the space are palpable, offering comfort and healing to those in need. As a sanctuary for the sick and the needy, the House of Sanctuary is a beacon of hope and compassion in a world that can often feel cruel and unforgiving.
Inside, six pillars ring the sanctuary floor, one for each of the deities, each in whatever state the funds have carried it to. However far the work has come, the quiet in here is real. The sick and the road-worn rest on cots along the walls, someone is always sweeping stone dust from the floor, and the mountain wind drops away the moment the doors close behind you.

Dicey Dangers, The Creepy Creature of Vulture's Vineyard Game by Joel Hills

House of Sanctuary

Time-Icon.png The House of Sanctuary stands at the south end of town, ivory stone bright against the dark pines climbing the slope behind it.
