Hero Equipment
A Hero can carry and equip a set number of items at any one time. Each item occupies one of four equipment categories: Apparel, Accessory, Hand, and Bag. All equipped items including Bag items contribute their Element, Material, and Attribute prefixes to the Hero's statistics for as long as they remain equipped.
Apparel
A Hero may equip one Apparel item at a time.
Accessory
A Hero may equip one Accessory item at a time. Jewelry items count as Accessories and occupy this slot.
Hand
A Hero has two Hand slots. How those slots are filled depends on the type of item equipped:

Bag
A Hero's Bag has three slots. Items stored in the Bag still contribute their prefixes to the Hero while carried.
- Persistent items occupy 1 full slot each.
- One-shot items (consumables) occupy 1/3 of a slot each three one-shot items share a single slot.
- Music Instruments are carried in the Bag.

The maximum of 7 is reached when carrying two One Hand items and three persistent Bag items. A Two Handed or Missile Weapon loadout reduces the maximum to 6.
