Threat Dice
There are many dangerous creatures out there that will use their natural (or maybe infused) gifts against you, making your adventure a bit more complicated. The Threat Dice will be present at times when a monster will use a special attack against one of the characters present on the current adventure. Your character gains a Threat Die (Black) on a roll of a 1 on a White die. Threat Dice sit in the character's threat pool until a monster spends one to attempt its Threat Action (see Monster Definition for how a monster's Threat Action works). A Threat Die is removed from the pool the moment it's spent on an attempt, whether or not that attempt actually triggers the monster's ability.
