Deity Power
Clerics and Paladins may invoke their deity's power up to 3 times per day. The 3 uses are a shared pool tracked on the hero sheet. All uses reset at Darkfall or on a standard rest in Town.
Each deity provides three powers:
| Power Type | Effect | When to Declare |
|---|---|---|
| Attribute Blessing | +1 automatic success on any test using the deity's linked attribute | After seeing a roll fail |
| Element Blessing | +1 automatic success on any attack or resist roll using the deity's linked element | After seeing a roll fail |
| Divine Power | A unique ability drawn from the deity's lore | Varies by power |
Attribute and Element Blessings may be declared after seeing a roll fail. The hero does not have to commit before rolling.
Deity Power Table
| Deity | Attribute Blessing | Element Blessing | Divine Power |
|---|---|---|---|
| Koyous | +1 success on Mind tests | +1 success on Magic attacks / resists | Foresight |
| Faustina | +1 success on Luck tests | +1 success on Fire attacks / resists | Second Chance |
| Pavlossus | +1 success on Body tests | +1 success on Cold attacks / resists | Unbreakable |
| Raiden | +1 success on Reflex tests | +1 success on Electric attacks / resists | First Strike |
| The Invisible Ones | +1 success on Social tests | +1 success on Energy attacks / resists | Chutzpah |
| Demetra | +1 success on Health tests | +1 success on Acid / Poison attacks / resists | Raise Dead |
Who Can Use Deity Powers
Only Clerics and Paladins may use Deity Powers. To invoke a Deity Power the hero must have a deity assigned on their character sheet. A hero without a deity has no connection to draw from.
