Light and Darkness

Light is very important for Heroes to navigate the complexities of a dungeon.

In the Darkness heroes suffer -2 Dice-White-Icon.png on Skill Checks, Defense and Attack rolls

Light Levels

From dimmest to brightest: Moon Light, Dim Light, Early Dawn Light, Day Light, Bright Light, Burning Sunshine.

See Prismatic Light for the full effects of each level

  • Torch and Candle both produce Dim Light,
  • Lantern produces Early Dawn Light, and only Prismatic Light (on a strong roll) reaches Day Light or above.
